BSD is a high-performance scale dissolver designed to efficiently remove sulphate scale with a unique ability to dissolve extremely high amounts of sulphate scales. BSD targets mineral scale deposits within the process system with minimal risk to formation rock, metal surfaces, and seals. In comparison to traditional alternatives, BSD possesses a high rate of dissolution and capacity.

BSD is not corrosive to metal or typical oilfield elastomers and seals. Should be stored long term in sealed drums or IBC totes. Fittings and valves should be HDPE, brass, or stainless steel. Please Note: Recommended dissolution temperature is at 40°C (104°F) or higher. Normal treatment times vary between 8 to 24 hours, depending on temperature and agitation.
